Things about Shumway Condominiums for Realtors to know:

  1. Shumway is a non-smoking property in the common and limited common area.  Limited common areas include the decks on each unit

    2.    Shumway was built in two phases.   Buildings in Phase I were completed in 1997 and are concrete and steel:

Buildings in Phase II were completed in 1998 and are wood framed:

  1. Landscaping.  Owners may not top, move, or remove trees or shrubs. 
    1. Shumway has a designated mini-park in front of Buildings A and B that requires the consent of the City of Kirkland to cut, relocate, or replace any tree in the area.  Other areas requiring City permission for alterations are the property’s south and north perimeters.
    2. Shumway follows City codes for pruning and/or removal.  Any pruning and/or removal or relocation of trees must be approved by the Board.
       
  1. Pets are allowed.
    1. Pets are limited to two, and are limited to dogs, cats and birds.  All pets need to be on a leash when walking within the property.

  1. New Homeowners:
    a.   Elevator pads are required to be put up during move in and may be requested by calling the property manager.

   

            Showings and Marketing at the Shumway:

1.        Flyers:
a.       May be placed in the Plexiglas containers on the For Sale signs near the entries.

2.        Showings and Brokers Open:
a.       Please put key boxes on the posts provided to the right of the mailboxes at both gates.  Make certain that the unit number or name is listed on the box.
b.      Please have all vehicles park on public streets and walk clients onto the property. 
c.       Please help keep Shumway secure.  Do not prop the gates / doors open.  Make sure access information and directions are clearly posted on your signage.
